I was just reintroduced to the ipads today while browsing Best Buy. I really just want one for drawing only, using procreate and maybe clip studio (if supported). I love the new pencil features!! Would the air be enough? They showed me the pro, but that price tag is s little too much for me. 😅

I remember taking the first gen iPad Pro and Apple Pencil into a workshop back in my undergrad days, and I still remember the confused and curious looks 😂 it’s been a privilege of mine to see how far the technology has advanced. Tech is best when it gets out the way and lets you create! Great breakdown!

Hi could you help in picking an iPad? 🙏 In all honestly I'm inexperienced & still learn to draw which I have done it traditionally till now. Altough I mostly end up scribbling some things on the iPhone (ibispaint) with my finger lol Even so I've been considering buying a tablet to learn both at the same time. Hence should I wait till I'm decent enough to draw? Altough if I settle for one I’d also like to be able to download pics on it like 30k for example

Thank you very much for the information in this video, but I have a question, I am an experienced artist (let's say I work with art, but my budget is very tight) and I have been using Android tablets for years and recently I had the doubt of using an iPad, since all the artists I asked say that the iPad is infinitely better, so would it be worth buying an iPad 10th generation or an Air 5th, both with 64 GB? My current tablet has 64 GB and is simply working fine, I really have doubts since I've never had an Apple device and unfortunately I don't know anyone with a device or stores to test it in so I would like some recommendations. sorry for the bad english, english is not my first language

I have 12.4 tab s8+. Went to check out ipad air 11,13. 11 looks so small. 13 is ok.

If I want to do some basic editing to upload process videos to youtube using maybe iMovie would an iPad Air work as well? or do you recommend jumping straight to an iPad Pro?

I want to buy an Ipad for Procreate and I am stuck between Air 5, Pro 5 12.9 inch, Pro 6 12.9 inch, Pro 4 11 inch and Pro 3 11inch. Factors I am considering is best for budget and layers. I am a traditional artist and I am very new to digital art. I want to hopefully create comics in the future so I want to make sure the one i get isnt too much of an overkill but not an underkill at the same time so i dont regret my purchase? Any suggestions on what to start with.

Really happy to have found your channel, very useful video thank you <3 I do have a question that wasn't covered in the video: what impact - if any - do you see the refresh rate having on brush lag? I've heard split opinions on how much the 60hz on Air impacts it vs the 120 ProMotion refresh rate on Pro, but would love to hear thoughts from an actual artist! I was leaning towards getting a 13in Air M2, but now due to hearing how the refresh rate affects the brush lag, am thinking whether a M2 iPad Pro from 2022 wouldn't be a smarter purchase. But then again, I want to future-proof as much as possible to get the most milage out of the device, so perhaps pencil pro and other Air 2024 features might outweight the brush lag if it's negligible? As you can see, I'm right on top of that fence and can't get down haha... (please help)

Hello Thank you very much for the video but I confess that I am still hesitating to know what ipad to take. Pro 13" or Air 13" maybe Pro 12.9"... I don't know ;_; I am not a professional artist and it would only be to draw when I travel. I thought the ipad air could be enough but I’m afraid it will be slowed down without the pro motion function. I have not had the opportunity to test the ipad directly. Can you advise me on this?

I have the gen 5 iPad Pro 12.9 with the M1 chip. Works fine. Once in a while procreate will crash. I was thinking about getting the 13 pro but is there really a big difference with the screen? Like is it really bigger or it’s the same as the one I have?

Thank you! I want to get an ipad that's newer than the one I have, with my main use being procreate. I want it to be able to use the second Apple pencil so it will have more dynamic lines when I draw. I'm also on a budget so I'm trying to wait for a sale of some sort that will line up with wherever my finances are at the time. So far, i've seen folks say the Air is best. I have a larger older iPad right now that will only work with the first apple pencil/isn't dynamic, but I'd be find with a smaller one that has the features I want. I used a $55 drawing tablet off Amazon before, and haven't used the older iPad I got because it didn't have the dynamic features (and my drawing hyperfixation passed-- but hopefully comes back soon because I've got a long list of pieces I want to make!)
